Save a Baby...Eat an Animal!
Here we are at the beginning of 2006. Ariel Sharon, the Prime Minister of Israel, has had a tragic stroke, and hopefully, he will have a miraculous recovery. Iran has removed the wraps off of its nuclear program and restarted whatever it is up to literally thumbing its nose at the world. Afghanistan is not totally settled, and Iraq is a great source of news controversy.
In the middle of all that, Judge Alito was confronted by a Senator yesterday who obviously has an agenda. Known as one of the most liberal left-wingers, I was both astonished and tickled when he told Judge Alito that he wanted to make sure we did not ratify a judge who would legislate from the bench. I couldn’t help but note that this senator has a very basic litmus test: the maintaining of Roe vs. Wade. I thought, "You are just like the hypocrites who made Jesus sick.” This senator knows full well that no legislature every passed a law supporting abortion. That ruling came from liberal jurists appointed by liberal politicians tolerated by foolish self-focused voters.
God begins work in the womb…the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. If a woman has the right to choose…doesn’t the baby? Isn’t it hypocrisy to give women the right of choice and call it a fetus, and then convict people who kill a pregnant woman of a double murder? It doesn’t make sense, does it? Not unless you are liberal, left-wing, and anti-Christian in you viewpoint!
Life is sacred…all life. A good motto for this generation would be "Save a baby...eat an animal!"
