The VIP Club 2008
With all the goofiness in our society, we fail to see the humiliation of our culture. Every person you will ever meet wants to feel, and actually be, important. That is why every culture has some sort of pecking order.
From inner-city gangs and "colors," to baggy pants, to tattoo art, to bling or jewelry, to Ebonics versus a proper education, to the car we drive, the clothes we wear, or the house we live in ... we are constantly trying to feel significant!
Our very culture battles these issues by imposing stupid values and horrible role models. How do shows like Jerry Springer get anyone to be a guest on there? How do these goofy talent shows attract people to humiliate themselves on national television? People looking for fame will almost always and inevitably end up discovering that humiliation is at the end of the road.
God doesn't deceive people ... He loves them and offers a life that has eternal value and significance. Be the VIP you were saved to be!
